In my 6 years as Director of Marketing for this tabletop and home design company, I created catalogs, email blasts, print and online ads, wrote press releases, handled press, customer, and public relations, created wholesale and retail websites, and much more.
As a start-up with few employees, while everyone had their areas of direct responsibility, we all wore many hats. While, as Marketing Director, my defined responsibilities included oversight of all marketing communications work, I also acted as lead designer on marketing materials, I was instrumental in devising and implementing sales systems (including developing Caskata's monogram program ordering logistics in stores and online), handled customer service, and I built the website and acted as its webmaster.
